Tayler Pace
Community Engagement Specialist
Tayler Pace is a 28-year old living in West Jordan, Utah. With a Master’s Degree in Social Work, he has navigated the mental health profession for nine years, working closely with at risk youth and adults, sexual assault survivors, adults with disabilities, and children on the autism spectrum.
Over the past six years, Tayler has become involved in the LGBTQ+ community. He started in 2017 as a volunteer at Encircle Provo and an office manager for Advanced Awareness Counseling. Then in 2020, he protested with the LGBTQ+ community at BYU and the LDS HQ building against the Honor Code. In 2021, he went to his first Pride march and started a research project at UVU focused determining gaps in resources for LGBTQ+ community members. That research inevitably brought Tayler to LGBTQ.UT.
As a St. George native, he enjoys anything outdoors, specifically rock climbing, going to the lake, and hiking. He likes making music, reading in his hammock, and spending time with family and friends.
